Louis van Gaal will not be the only man set to leave Manchester United this week, if reports to be believed.
Ryan Giggs is also seemingly poised to end his nearly 29-year-association with the club, it has been suggested, with the Welshman to follow Van Gaal and his backroom staff in moving on.
Journalists from the Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail have cited talk about a Giggs departure, though nothing has been confirmed as yet.
United are expected to make a statement confirming Van Gaal’s exit at 1pm UK time, which is when the New York Stock Exchange opens.
A lot of chatter about Giggs going. Still waiting for confirmation if he's staying or gone #MUFC

Giggs first joined the club as a player in 1987, making his league debut as a 17-year-old in 1991.
He made a total of 963 appearances for the club before retiring at the age of 40, and took charge of four games as interim player-manager following the departure of David Moyes in 2014.
The 42-year-old was the only senior member of the club’s coaching staff to stay involved after Van Gaal’s appointment, but there has been talk that manager-elect Jose Mourinho will bring in an entirely new backroom team.
