Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil rip the piss as they re-live Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat of Man United

A throwback to last season's win.

Few players sum up the Arsenal way better than Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil.

At five feet and six inches, the diminutive Spaniard survives in the professional game thanks to his incredibly technical ability and his ability to play the game with his head. In a world where players are getting bigger every day, Cazorla continued success is a reminder that there is more than one way to play the game.

Ozil, meanwhile, represents the Gunners’ ambition. Having signed from Real Madrid for an eye-popping £42.5m a few years back, Arsenal fans have latched onto the German as a symbol of all they can be, while his critics say that his penchant for assists over goals makes him the embodiment of everything wrong with Arsenal.

So when the club decided they wanted to re-live one of last season’s marquee performances, they figured they could do no better than to call on the midfield duo to set the tempo as they so often do on the pitch.

Arsenal released a short video of the pair commentating on last season’s 3-0 defeat of Manchester United, which happened a year ago today.

A giddy Cazorla laughs his way through proceedings as Ozil cracks a few jokes at his own expense, quipping: “My God, he is so selfish sometimes” after he scores Arsenal’s second.

The two then begin taking the piss out of their opponents on the day, describing their attacking play as “easy” before Cazorla laughs about Sanchez playing a high ball to him.
