The current Fulham manager is set to leave the club where he ended his playing career in the next 24-48 hours
According to multiple sources, Scott Parker is set to leave recently relegated Fulham and become the manager of AFC Bournemouth in the next 24-48 hours.
Sky Sports covered the breaking news with Dharmesh Sheth just this morning, with the belief being that a deal is not a question of “if” but “when”.

Parker has been with Fulham since 2019 and despite helping take them back up to the Premier League in 19/20, they didn’t manage to survive the drop and were relegated again this past season.
Despite relegation, the 40-year-old was applauded at numerous points throughout the season for improving the squad which went from being leaky at the back to water-tight toward the latter end of the season.
He was also commended for continuing to try and play his style of football for large parts of the seasons, rather than jumping straight to an entirely conservative brand of football in an attempt to stay up.
As for Bournemouth, they have been somewhat wayward ever since the departure of Eddie Howe in August of 2020. While Jason Tindall took temporary charge at first, former Leeds, Middlesborough and Spurs player, Jonathan Woodgate, has been at the helm since February.
However, though the team did manage to reach the Championship playoffs, they could not secure promotion back to the Premier League where they spent five years under Howe. Question is, will Scott Parker be the man to see them return and, more importantly, stay up?
