Reminder: Serge Gnabry was deemed not good enough for Arsenal
One of the most impressive facets of Virgil van Dijk’s season has been the statistic that he has not been dribbled past in either the Premier League or the Champions League.
Liverpool have the best defence in the Premier League this season and van Dijk has played an instrumental role in their improvement in that area but on Sunday night in Amsterdam he got taken for a ride by the Bayern Munich winger.
The former Arsenal wideman had a forgettable spell during his time in England but he has been a revelation for the German national team with five goals in six games.
Jogi Low is trying to rebuild the 2014 World Cup winners following their calamitous group stage exit at last summer’s World Cup and they look like they may bounce back from their opening Euro 2020 qualifying draw with Serbia against a resurgent Netherlands side.
WHAT A GOAL!

Leroy Sane gave Germany the lead after just 15 minutes following an unfortunate slip from Matthijs de Ligt before Gnabry with extended the visitors lead to two with a stunning run and strike.
The 23-year-old picked up the ball behind the Dutch defence and broke down the left wing before cutting inside, skipping by van Dijk and burying a powerful right-footed shot past the outstretched Jasper Cillessen and into the back of the net.
