After seeing a fan in trouble, Sergio Aguero won many plaudits when he made the referee stop Manchester City’s game with Everton.
Fortunately, the supporter now appears to be recovering after suffering an epileptic fit.

Following the game, Aguero used his Twitter account to send the fan his best wishes, stressing that he was merely doing what he felt anyone in his position would have done.
Regarding notifying about the supporter who became indisposed, I just did what anyone would have.

I was worried but I found out that he was luckily treated in time and is well. My best wishes on his recovery.

Whereas he proves his class as a footballer on a weekly basis, Sergio Aguero has also shown that he’s a thoroughly decent human being through all of this.
Yes – we can all agree with him that many others would have done the same in this position, but in an age where footballers don’t always set a good example as role models for the millions of kids that look up to them, Sergio Aguero certainly did on this occasion.
Good on you, Sergio.
