He only played 40 minutes
Sergio Ramos picked up the 27th red card of his professional career on Wednesday night as Paris Saint-Germain were made to fight for a point away to Lorient.
Ramos replaced Nuno Mendes at half-time, but could only lasting 35 minutes before getting booked in the 81st minute. Five minutes later, the Spaniard then gave the referee no choice but to send him off after he took down Lorient forward Terem Moffi.
The Nigerian striker had pushed the ball well beyond Ramos, who was running through treacle as he decided to stop dead in Moffi’s tracks, cause a collision, and hold his back as they both dropped to the ground.
The referee was not buying it, no matter how long Ramos stayed face down on the ground for, and showed him a second yellow card.

PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino was forced to put out a weakened XI for this away trip, without the options of Neymar or Kylian Mbappé (poor him etc.)
His side enjoyed the lion’s share of possession, creating 17 shots in the game, but allowed Lorient to do the same despite only having 22 per cent of the ball.
Thomas Monconduit put the hosts in front with a stunning strike just before half time, and Lorient kept the Parisians at bay for most of the second half before Mauro Icardi’s 91st minute equaliser.
He hit that with force! 😳

PSG remain top of Ligue 1, with just one league defeat this season, but two wins in their last five is a reminder of their fragility. When their Champions League tie against Real Madrid comes round in February, they’ll be hoping to be in a richer vein of form, and most importantly, have Neymar back from injury.
