Leeds and Brighton both have more players in the Spain squad than Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos has been omitted from Spain’s Euro 2020 squad, after Luis Enrique opted not to select any Real Madrid players for this summer’s tournament.
Ramos has struggled with his fitness of late and was an unused substitute at the weekend as Real Madrid beat Villarreal 2-1 to finish second in La Liga, behind city rivals Atlético Madrid.
Both Brighton and Leeds United have players in the squad, with Robert Sanchez taking the third goalkeeper slot and Diego Llorente selected as one of four centre-backs.
Luis Enrique also chose to select just 24 players from a maximum of 26.
The squad in full is as follows:
Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Unai Simon, Robert Sanchez.
Defenders: Jose Luiz Gaya, Jordi Alba, Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Eric Garcia, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Llorente
Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Rodi, Pedri, Thiago, Koke, Fabian Ruiz, Dani Olmo
Attackers: Mikel Oyarzabal, Gerard Moreno, Alvaro Morata, Ferran Torres, Adama Traore, Pablo Sarabia.
