Six more players have jumped on the bandwagon
Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is facing a player exodus as 17 players reportedly want to leave Old Trafford.
Although the Red Devils have lost just once since the German arrived following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in, he has struggled to restore harmony at the club and a significant number of first-team players are looking to leave United.
It was previously reported that 11 players were keen on an exit, with one source quoted as saying: “It’s not good.
“The atmosphere is really bad and it looks like there are going to be big problems ahead for United.”
However, the Daily Mail are now claiming that six more players have since made their intentions clear.
The Mirror have reported that 13 players who are known to want to leave the club are: Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata, Donny van de Beek, Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Nemanja Matic, Fred, Diogo Dalot and Axel Tuanzebe.
It adds that the other four players are yet to be named.
While Rangnick is thought to have held meetings with his players – as he attempts to bring the squad together – the former RB Leipzig boss has so far been unable to change the minds of the individuals who want to leave.
Pogba, Lingard, Mata and Cavani are all out of contract in the summer, with no indication as of yet that any of them are close to signing a new deal.
Matic, Fred, Dalot are all coming to the end of their contracts, and Van de Beek, Henderson, Jones and Bailly are thought to be frustrated by their lack of opportunities at Old Trafford.
