In case everyone had forgotten, the title race is still on.
Leicester City may be strong favourites to become the champions of England for the first time in their 132-year history, but there’s still a chance that Tottenham Hotspur could pip them to the post
Admittedly it would take something of a Devon Loch style capitulation by the Foxes, but if Spurs keep winning their games and keep the pressure on their East Midlands rivals, anything is possible.
We’ve already walked you through how quickly Leicester could secure the title, but the bottom line is that Spurs must win against Chelsea to prevent the Foxes coronation.
Not that Spurs fans seem particularly optimistic about their chances on Monday night.
Despite clearly being the better side this season, and sitting eight places and a mammoth 22 points ahead of their London rivals, the Lilywhites’ fans aren’t particularly bullish…
Typical that Chelsea would be back to full strength for this game, especially with Terry at the back. #COYS

Me: we've got Chelsea tomorrow.
Eldest: we'll lose that.

@Hotspur35 think we need to press on as usual. Would be very Spursy and highly annoying if we were to fell behind Arsenal!#coys

The league is over. Tonight's game is about #Spurs finally beating Chelsea @ The Bridge (hopefully), and finishing above Arsenal. #COYS

In fairness, when you look at Spurs’ record at Stamford Bridge in recent decades, you can hardly blame them…
0 – Spurs have won 0 of their last 28 visits to Stamford Bridge in all comps (D10 L18), since a 2-1 win in February 1990. Battleground.
