Some classic memories here.
As far as farewells go, Tottenham Hotspur supporters must be pretty pleased with what they’ve seen so far as their side lead Manchester United by 1-0 at half-time. As you know, this match is the final one for Spurs in the current surroundings of White Hart Lane and the atmosphere has been cracking.

Yes, it’s nice to see the special shirts, the new club crest and former idols of years gone past being reintroduced to the fans, but one thing matters the most and that’s winning.
In that sense, it’s so far so good thanks to Victor Wanyama’s powerful header and Wayne Rooney’s refusal to do any marking whatsoever.
While a win over the current Manchester United side might not be as famous as one against them in previous meetings, there’s no denying that the Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been privy to some memorable – and heartbreaking – moments at White Hart Lane.
The Premier League paid tribute to some of the gifted players that played at the lane with the likes of Glenn Hoddle, Bill Nicholson, Ricky Villa, Ossie Ardiles, Jürgen Klinsmann and Gareth Bale all appearing in this rousing video.
Wembley awaits Spurs next season, but fans will be hoping that the new renovations and an increased capacity of 61,000 will help solidify Tottenham Hotspur’s position as one of England’s very best sides for years to come.
After all, to quote their own motto, To Dare is To Do.
