Tottenham Hotspur have issued lifetime bans to the pair of supporters who threw a plastic cup full of urine at opposition fans last week.
During West Ham’s victory over Spurs at Wembley last Wednesday, two home fans recorded a clip of one urinating inside a plastic glass before another threw it aimlessly into a group of spectators.
The faces of the guilty parties were quite easily identifiable in the revolting video and after an investigation, Spurs have issued both with lifetime bans.
A club spokesman said: “This kind of behaviour is not acceptable and we shall be issuing lifetime bans to both individuals in the video.”
According to Sky Sports, a total eight arrests were made in total at the game between the London rivals last Wednesday.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of the possession of a class A drug, two were arrested on suspicion of assault and the remaining four were arrested on suspicions of crimes such as assault on a police officer, drunk and disorderly conduct, violent disorder and affray.
A spectacular West Ham comeback saw the visitors eliminate Spurs and progress to the quarter-final stage of the League Cup, where they will meet Arsenal in December.
