Kane has one year left on his deal at Spurs
Spurs have reportedly offered Harry Kane a deal that would see a dramatic rise in wages in a bid to fend off interest from Bayern Munich and other rivals.
As per The Guardian, Kane is already on £200,000-a-week but with the forward’s contract up at the end of the season, Spurs are doing everything in their power to keep him at the club.
Although Spurs want to do everything they can to keep him, reports have suggested that the England international has no intention of committing to new terms and is looking for a new challenge.
Bayern are the only side to have made an offer so far, but had a bid of £60m plus add ons swiftly rejected, while Manchester United are also said to be interested in bringing the forward to Old Trafford.
The German champions are expected to make another bid however it is still likely to be below Daniel Levy’s valuation of £100m.
Kane reportedly met with Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel in May where they discussed a potential move and the forward admitted that winning the Champions League was his ultimate goal.
Tuchel has been a long-term admirer of the forward, saying back in 2021: “If you find any coach around the world who would not like to have Harry Kane in his team, call me.
“I would like to speak with the guy and hear about his ideas of scoring and attacking.”
Tottenham have made two signings so far, Guglielmo Vicario and midfielder James Maddison and are close to securing the signature of Manor Solomon.
