What a truly sensational strike
A Lincoln City steward scored a ‘goal’ with a dildo during The Imps home tie against Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
The home side took the lead through Jayden Stockley’s own goal in the 58th minute, but Nigel Adkins’ men levelled in the 63rd minute courtesy of Samuel Lavelle.
Michael Appleton’s team scored a dramatic late winner as Regan Poole converted in injury-time to steal all three points at the LNER Stadium.
Despite an entertaining game, one of the best moments in the match came when a Lincoln steward had to retrieve a dildo from the pitch after a fan threw the object onto the grass.

Whilst the most simple way to remove the item would’ve been to pick it up, the steward probably – and understandably – didn’t want to be walking around with somebody’s ‘toy’.
Therefore, he decided to please the crowd and have a little bit of fun himself – taking a big swipe at the object (somehow, not managing to score with his first effort) before calmly slotting the *ball* over the line.
He made the most of the fans’ cheers by pulling out the Alan Shearer celebration as he made his way back to his position.
No matter what you think of the Football League, nobody can say it isn’t entertaining…
