We don’t think that Lem Turner, an incoming Freshman at Ball State University, will be too worried about how his technique looks after making this shot.
The young man guaranteed himself a free semester of college education when he sunk a half-court shot at an event during the college’s Welcome Week (which is the preppy American translation of Freshers’ Week, we believe).
Turner, a teenager from Illinois, nailed the near-impossible shot and has since become an internet sensation. We’re confident that he’ll be drunkenly getting asked to toss basketballs around for the entirety of his college career after this.
