Granit Xhaka is quickly gaining a reputation as the joker in Arsenal’s dressing room.
The Swiss midfielder was quick to mock the Spaniards at the club after his compatriot Roger Federer beat Rafa Nadal to win the Australian Open.
And now, while preparing to watch the Gunners from the stands as they take on Watford, he has taken a cheeky pop at teammate Alex Iwobi.
While the Nigerian international was live streaming on Instagram, sharing his evening with his 482,000 followers, Xhaka stepped in to remind the youngster that he had a game the next day.
I think Xhaka has taken the father role at Arsenal… pic.twitter.com/zxU4yjC98n

Xhaka has proved popular with Arsenal fans since completing a big-money move from the Bundesliga over the summer, even if he may need to work on his disciplinary record.
And his relationship with his teammates continues to keep him in supporters’ good books, even if he is currently serving a four-match ban for the red card he picked up in the victory over Burnley.
I love how Granit was looking out for Alex Iwobi last night. It shows he's a captain in the making at Arsenal xx

With this intervention, coupled with the English lessons Iwobi gave Xhaka last year, we can’t wait for these two to get their own spin-off show.
