With football fans up and down the country finding it increasingly expensive to travel to away matches, Swansea City have found a way to ease the load.
The Premier League club have promised to part-subsidise away tickets to ensure no fan pays more than £22 for the privilege of watching the Swans on their travels.
It’s a fantastic statement of intent from the club, which is 20% owned by its supporters’ trust.
FANS: It means no adult will pay more than £22 for any away fixture, while concession prices will be capped at £15 and kids just £10.

The ‘True to 22’ initiative will come as great news for supporters who, by Swansea’s estimates, will save more than £250 per adult if they go to all 19 away games. The Welsh club’s fans had further to travel than any other group of Premier League supporters last season.
Ticket prices in the Premier League have been a hot topic for a while, and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker told JOE it was “time to address” the issue.
Hopefully Swansea’s decision is just the beginning, and more clubs follow suit in time for the 2015/16 season.
