A good side for a friendly?
Even though it’s only a friendly, Gareth Southgate’s England face a tough test against France tonight, following Saturday’s late drama with against Scotland. France themselves though also suffered late on at the weekend in their qualifier against Sweden, with Hugo Lloris’ injury time screw-up costing them a point – so both teams will be looking to bounce back strong.
Tom Heaton starts in goal over Joe Hart, and Spurs’ Kieran Trippier is set to earn his first cap.

Think that’s a good starting line-up?
France have a strong team out, with Pogba, Mbappe Kante and Giroud all starting – but no Griezmann.
France XI to face England: Lloris, Mendy, Umtiti, Varane, Sidibe, Lemar, Pogba, Kante, Dembele, Giroud, Mbappe.
