After making short work of Mark de Mori in his comeback fight in London, David Haye is already hungry for more action.
The former world champion will return to the O2 Arena on May 21, to take on an as-yet-unnamed opponent, and has an eventual heavyweight title bout in his sights, even if Tyson Fury has played down hopes of a meeting.
Haye’s 131-second knockout against De Mori broke records for free-to-air channel Dave, bringing in more than 3million viewers at its peak, and gave Haye a taste for more.
‘After being out of the ring for so long it was incredible to be fighting in a capacity crowd at The O2 arena in front of my loyal fans,’ the ‘Hayemaker’ said in a statement.
‘The Heavyweight division is once again incredibly exciting, with a number of talented fighters vying for the World Titles. The Hayemaker is back and ready for the next challenge!’
Tickets fort he upcoming fight will go on general sale at 9am on January 29 via AXS.com, with pre-sale for O2 Priority customers opening at 9am on January 27.
