Arsenal fans are an emotional bunch.
Despite the running joke of quietness at the Emirates, Gunners supporters are never afraid to make a bit of noise on Twitter.
Less than a month ago, they were proudly declaring themselves as champions elect. But after picking up just two points from their last three league games, the Arsenal faithful appear to have turned again.
They were furious with their side’s first-half performance, which saw Per Mertesacker receiving a straight red card and Diego Costa scoring the game’s only goal.
As is the Gunners’ custom, the loss was accompanied by a series of postings about Arsene Wenger’s future with the club.

Not buying an outfield player in summer window, playing a player my nan can outrun at CB. And they're offering a new contract? #WengerOut

Of course, it wouldn’t be a #WengerOut party without the leader of the group…
We've lost the plot. #afc

How can we lose TWICE to the worst Chelsea team in PL history? #afc

If Wenger won't spend our £200m this week, then sack him and I'll do it. No chance of this squad winning the League. #afc
