There are some decent Premier League players out of contract in the summer

The latest Premier League TV contract means clubs are not as desperate for freebies as they used to be.

But with some experienced and talented stalwarts out of contract at the end of the season, that may change.

There are a few on the older side, like Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky, and a few on the injury prone side, like…Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky.

But a couple of clubs might want to quickly extend some first-teamers’ deals to keep them from leaving for nothing.
