Much has been made of the bromance between Spurs’ Dele Alli and Eric Dier this season, but it looks like another pair at White Hart Lane could be even better buds.
Centre-back Kevin Wimmer tweeted a picture of himself and Heung-min Son at this week’s Asian Awards in London. The two of them were suited up and looking very happy in each other’s company, leading Wimmer’s followers to think Son had invited him along as his +1.

Wimmer told Soccer AM last month that Son was his closest friend at the club, and the duo are definitely giving Dier and Alli a run for their money.

I genuinely don't know who I ship more, Dier x Alli or Son x Wimmer. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/6o3j3yqd0j

Mauricio Pochettino will hope his entire squad are feeling the love tomorrow, as they’ll need it to overcome Manchester United at White Hart Lane – a team Spurs have surprisingly failed to register a goal against since the Argentinian took over – and keep league leaders Leicester City in their sights.
Wimmer has deputised admirably for the injured Jan Vertonghen, and with the Belgian reportedly close to making his comeback, the defensive competition will give Pochettino a welcome selection headache.
