Their worst ever Premier League calender year.
Manchester United’s final game of 2015 was a fitting conclusion to a frustrating year for the team.
Louis van Gaal’s side played out a goalless draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford, their eight consecutive game without a win, and are now five points off the Champions League places at the mid-point of the season.
However, for the entire calender year, United have endured their lowest points total in 26 years, taking just 64.
Manchester United has earned the least amount of points in a calendar year (64 in 2015) since 1990 (58 points)

In the 1989/90 season, United finished 13th, and 6th the following year.
Interestingly, the last time the club went over seven games without a win was also back in 1990.
However, back then, Alex Ferguson was in charge, the club were two years away from signing Eric Cantona and bringing through the Class of ’92, and three years from signing Roy Keane.
