The outbreak of COVID-19 has left many societies in lockdown, with people advised to social distance to avoid the spread of the disease. As a result, football matches at all levels of the English football pyramid have been suspended indefinitely.
In a situation that mirrors that of England’s current top side, Liverpool, Christ Church East Greenwich are now left in limbo with regards to when or if they can lift the title this season.
We spoke to their captain about the situation and the uncertainty around the future.
