Tottenham Hotpsur U-23 coach Ugo Ehiogu is currently receiving medical treatment after falling ill at their training ground this afternoon.
In a statement, the club said : “We can confirm that Ugo Ehiogu is currently in hospital after collapsing at our Training Centre earlier today.  Our Under-23’s coach received immediate treatment on site from our medical staff before being transferred to hospital by ambulance. Everyone at the club sends their best wishes to Ugo and his family. We shall continue to provide updates when we have further information.”

As a player, the defender was capped four time by England and made over 200 appearances for Aston Villa between 1991 and 2000. He also spent seven years at Middlesbrough and had spells at West Brom, Leeds, Rangers and Sheffield United before retiring in 2009.
Ehiogu has been a member of the Tottenham coaching staff since 2014.
