Wanted man...

Sterling effort from Man City

The Mirror report that Manchester City are determined to make wantaway winger Raheem Sterling a blue for next season.

Apparently City are willing to offer the in-demand imp a mammoth salary of £150,000 a week to tempt him to Manchester.

That’s about £60,000 more than Liverpool are willing to muster, but they’ll do their damnedest to convince him to remain at Anfield.

Chelsea make room for Raheem

They’ll have to ward off Chelsea’s advances if Raheem is to remain a red beyond the final game of the season.

The Star claim that the Stamford Bridge outfit are willing to reorganise their title-winning attack to accommodate the England man.

Presumably with FFP in mind, Jose Mourinho is willing to flog newboy Juan Cuadrado and oldboy Oscar to make the deal happen.

Bayern want Euro Sterling exchange

Chelsea face competition from Germany in their desire to make football’s flavour of the month a London blue.

The Bild suggest that Pep Guardiola sees the former QPR forward as the perfect replacement for Franck Ribery.

The Frenchman hasn’t featured since March due to injury, and the Bavarians are fed up with his sick leave.
