Transfer Gossip: Liverpool and Chelsea want Italian legend Andrea Pirlo

Pirlo wanted in the Premier League

Those sensational free kicks, that silky passing and those visionary balls (no innuendo intended) – that’s Andrea Pirlo in a nutshell.

Well, Liverpool and Chelsea could be fighting it out to bring that delightful package to the Premier League this summer.

Tuttosport report the two clubs could be set to bid for the 35-year-old Juventus wizard who has just one year left on his contract and has hinted he could leave this summer.

Classy haircut and beard included.

Chelsea want Atletico Madrid trio

Chelsea are in the hunt for three Atletico Madrid stars…and surprisingly Fernando Torres is not one of them.

Jose Mourinho is looking to add to his attacking options with a potential £45m move for striker Antoine Griezmann – and the Frenchman reportedly keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, the Daily Telegraph report.

The Chelsea boss is also eyeing up Koke, who is a target for Barcelona and Manchester United, and Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld, who is currently on loan at Southampton, say the Express.

They would join Diego Costa and Filipe Luis in making the switch.

Anyone else you want from Atletico while we’re here Jose?

Sampdoria want Liverpool flop Balotelli

He might have been a complete disaster at Liverpool, but somebody wants Mario Balotelli.

Serie A side Sampdoria could offer the Italian a way out of Anfield this summer after a stinker of a season on Merseyside, The Daily Mirror report.

The club’s president Massimo Ferrero believes Balotelli could be the perfect foil for former Everton and Chelsea man Samuel Eto’o and says they would make a “fantastic couple.”

Awwwww.

You want seconds?

*Jose Mourinho will do whatever it takes to block Arsenal’s attempts to sign Petr Cech. Sounds ominous.

*Arsene Wenger says Arsenal have no plans to sell Theo Walcott and have opened contract talks with the forward.

*Everton centre-back Sylvain Distin could be given the chance of Premier League football with plucky underdogs Bournemouth when his Goodison deal expires.

*Manchester United could sign on-loan Columbia striker Radamel Falcao for a bargain basement free after Monaco were punished by Uefa for breach of FFP regulations.

*Angel Di Maria isn’t ‘angeling’ for a move, but Paris St Germain could take the 27-year-old on loan from Man United this summer.

*Chelsea will target young Everton defender John Stones if they can’t lure Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
