Arda to Turan down move to Old Trafford
Turkey winger Arda Turan is at the centre of a three-way tug of war between Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona.
United have made an official approach for the Atletico Madrid player, according to AS, however he is thought to be keen on a move to London.
The 28-year-old would be reunited with former team-mates Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois if he opts to join Chelsea.
City to splash out
UEFA have lifted transfer restrictions on Manchester City, opening the door for the club to shell out big money on Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.
The Daily Telegraph report that the lifting of the financial fair play sanctions could give City the green light to begin a £100m spending spree this summer.
Also on the club’s shopping list are England midfielder Fabian Delph and former Chelsea player Kevin de Bruyne.
Turkish move doesn’t delight van Persie
Manchester United striker Robin van Persie may yet leave the club this summer, but he won’t be joining Besiktas.
According to talkSPORT, the Dutchman has rejected a move to the side that finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
Besiktas are looking for a new talisman after losing last season’s top scorer Demba Ba to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
