United Sterling the pot
Whether it’s just paper talk, genuine interest or an excuse to p*ss off their local rivals, Manchester United seem to be after Raheem Sterling.
The Mirror report that United’s interest in the Liverpool player is very real, and they are ‘readying’ an opening gambit of £25m.
If the supposed bid seems somewhat shy, the advances aren’t. This has the potential to turn very interesting very quickly. Or not.
Paul ‘Nou man’ Pogba
The Star have gone with a big exclusive that Paul Pogba is one his way to Champions League finalists, Barcelona.
Apparently the talented Frenchman is so eager to join the Catalan club, that he’s willing to wait until their transfer ban has been lifted.
This is seen as a snub to Manchester City, who were willing to offer both Juventus and the player a shedload of cash to bring Pogba to England.
Kon artist a wanted man
Talking of talented 22-year-old French midfielders, one player who may be heading to the Premier League is Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The Mirror reckon that Arsene Wenger is all over the Monaco man like cheap cologne and is determined to lure him to the Emirates.
The Londoners will face competition from Italy in the stripy shape of Inter Milan, but Arsene is ready to stump up £25m for his man.
