Benzema bidding war to begin
Real Madrid are preparing for life under a new manager, but Karim Benzema might not be part of the new era.
The French international striker is a target for Manchester United and Arsenal, according to The Guardian, and the Spanish club’s pursuit of goalkeeper David De Gea may swing things in United’s favour.
With Radamel Falcao leaving and Robin van Persie on the wane, Benzema could well be what Louis van Gaal’s side needs to push on next season.
Ings can only get better at Tottenham
Burnley striker Danny Ings is likely to be playing Premier League football next season despite the Clarets’ relegation, with Tottenham leading the race for the England Under-21 man,
The Independent report the London club would be required to pay at least £5m in compensation for the youngster, who found the net 11 times this season, though Liverpool are also believed to be interested.
Ings has already hinted at his desire to move on, and a deal could be completed before he joins up with the England Under-21 squad for the European Championships in June.

Carroll coming home
It’s safe to say things haven’t quite gone as planned for Andy Carroll since he left Newcastle United for £35m in January 2011, and now he could be returning to his boyhood club.
According to The Sun, the West Ham striker could rejoin the Toon Army from West Ham, where he has played just 51 league games in three seasons after a series of injuries.
It would certainly be one way for Newcastle’s next manager (whoever that ends up being) to get the fans on side.
But wait, there’s more…
