Guten Morgan

In a quite sensational (it’s transfer gossip – everything is sensational) development, it seems that Manchester United have leap-frogged Arsenal in the race for Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Southampton midfielder, who’s been in imperious form this season, had been heavily linked with a move to the FA Cup champions of England.

But the Mirror, amongst others, reference reports from France that suggest a move to Old Trafford may now be on the cards for the Frenchman.

Dante Speak

Another player who may well be heading to Old Trafford as part of Louis van Gaal’s orange revolution is Brazilian defender Dante Bonfim Costa Santos.

German newspaper Bild claim that United want to add some experience to their backline and the 31-year-old would certainly provide that.

One stumbling block may be the fact that the defender isn’t actually that good anymore. He can’t get into the Bayern team and he’s always good value for a gaffe.

Happy end Ings

Stand by your beds everyone – Liverpool may just be on the verge of actually signing a player rather just ‘monitoring’ a gazillion targets.

The Independent report that Danny Ings will open negotiations over personal terms with the Merseyside club this very week.

Despite keen interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Ings has his heart set on teaming up with the likes of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert at Anfield.
