Manchester United suffered their heaviest Premier League defeat under Louis van Gaal on Sunday as they lost 3-0 at Everton.
Not even the half-time introduction of Radamel Falcao could save them, with United now standing seven points above Liverpool in the race for fourth having played a game more.
Twitter predictably enjoyed some schadenfreude around Van Gaal’s misfortune, while the club’s fans didn’t take the result particularly well…
We knew we needed better defenders, a Carrick alternative and more pace/spark in attack so, crap as that was, no need for knees to jerk

Sometimes you need a bit less composure and a bit more fury.

Everton win the match to decide which club David Moyes wishes he was still managing by a score of 3-0.

Manchester United have had 70% and 65% of possession in their last two games and lost both without scoring.
