Twitter rips the p*ss out of Arsenal for tweeting Mesut Ozil song before Chelsea defeat

Why would you do this?

Ben Kenyon

Arsenal’s official Twitter account have been at it again.

This time they tweeted that Mesut Ozil song. You know the one. The one that they apparently stole off West Ham about Dmitri Payet (which turns out was stolen from Celtic and then Newcastle).

The one that says he’s better than Zinedine Zidane.

Anyway, it was gleefully tweeted out before the big game against Chelsea – before Arsene Wenger’s men stuck another spanner in the works of their title hopes.

Never a great move, lads.

Sadly Twitter didn’t share the same kind of jaunty enthusiasm…

West Ham fans were still moaning about it…

Some fans were just offended about the whole Zidane thing…

It just got ridiculous when Wigan Athletic fans turned up…

All we can think is thank f**k they didn’t try to tweet out the highlight from the game.

Oh…
