The classic rock, paper, scissors was the highly scientific method decided upon by two England U19 players to determine who would take a penalty.
England’s youngsters faced Japan and spanked the Asian side 5-1 with the penalty fiasco coming when England were just 1-0 up.
The bizarre incident took place between Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts with both men desperate to step up for the penalty kick.
Abraham won the game, but only went and had his effort saved.
