Tyson Fury is not your typical heavyweight.
For a man who weighs over 18 stone and stands 6ft 9in, Fury moves better on his feet than most light heavyweights.
Fury possesses power, sure, but he is much more of a technician than a one-punch knockout kind of fighter.
The undefeated Brit was delighted to get 10 rounds under his belt on Saturday at a rain-soaked Windsor Park and admitted in the wake of his 27th victory that an early finish was never something that his team wanted this time out.
With a WBC title shot against Deontay Wilder up next for ‘The Gypsy King’, it was about banking rounds rather than getting Saturday’s opponent, Francesco Pianeta, out of there as quickly as possible.

Fury had plenty of energy left in the tank after his victory and he even did some pad work in his dressing room in order to get a workout in before he celebrated in Belfast.
The 30-year-old also sat for a couple of interviews, one of which he took umbrage with.
As he spoke to Radio Rahim, it was put to Fury that his clinic against Pianeta “didn’t really build the excitement in the arena.”

Fury, who went on to accuse the interviewer of being biased towards Wilder, defended his performance and while it might have looked like he was annoyed by the question, he happily shook hands afterwards.
“Well I don’t know what fight you were watching because the crowd loved every minute of it,” Fury responded.
“I thought I boxed like ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard in there. I didn’t take a blow over 10 rounds against a man who has lost just four of his 40 pro fights.
“And I’d like to see if you could do any better in there against Francesco Pianeta because he’d knock you spark out.
“You say my fight was a dull performance? It was a fucking great performance!”
