Tyson Fury is making sure he’s not forgotten about.
As the dust settles on the all-British grudge match between Tony Bellew and David Haye and the spotlight shifts to the presumably more respectful build-up to the clash between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko, one of the most outspoken heavyweights of all time is chirping up.
Fury had been keeping a relatively low profile (by his standards) as he serves a suspension from the British Boxing Board of Control but, in recent weeks we’ve seen more of the Fury of old.
The former heavyweight champion of the world announced that he was aiming to return to the ring in May, issuing the below warning to the heavyweight division.

BBBofC responded to Fury’s comeback claims by insisting that there was no chance of his licence being reinstated by that date.
“My understanding is a fact – he’s suspended, so that’s it,” BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith told Sky Sports earlier this week.
“He’s got a number of issues to consider before we even consider lifting a suspension.
“We’ve not had any contact with Mr Fury or any of his team since he was suspended. We understand there is a hearing taking place for anti-doping, and until that matter is dealt with, the suspension will stay in place.”
Before parting ways with his WBA, WBO, and IBO belts, Fury had admitted to using cocaine and suffering from depression.
But, on Friday, Fury took to Twitter where he confidently claimed that he had “moved on from the dark and scary place” he’d been in but, in a startling revelation, he also announced that he currently weighs 350lbs.
Talk about being a fat man, I'm 25stones or 350lbs, but getting the weight off has never been a problem! Ask @peterfury we done it 24 times.

Fury last fought in November 2015, when he dethroned former heavyweight kingpin Wladimir Klitschko on points in Dusseldorf.
Ahead of that fight Fury weighed in at 17st 8lbs, meaning that he currently weighs over 100lbs more than he weighed on the eve of his most recent contest.
The road to fitness will be a long one but it seems as though Fury is busy paving a comeback trail for the ages.
