Tyson Fury has sent a “special message” to Eddie Hearn

Getting creative

Now that the UK Anti-Doping hearing is out of the way, Tyson Fury can get back to doing what he does best.

Fighting and trash-talking are just two areas where Fury excels and the path is now clear for him to start doing both again in the coming year.

After having his ban for testing positive for a banned substance backdated two years, Fury will now have the suspension of his boxing licence reviewed in January by the British Boxing Board of Control and once that’s reinstated, he will be good to go.

Fury is expected to take a warm-up fight or two in the early months of 2018 before ultimately setting up the monster all-British showdown with rival Anthony Joshua.

He’s well on his way to dropping the considerable weight he’s put on in his time away from the ring and he’s clearly enjoying his training, as he dances through his sessions every day.

Fury used his Wednesday workout to send a “special message” to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn as he repurposed Eminem’s Without Me with lyrics of his own.

Hearn recently cast doubt over Fury’s recent training footage, with the Matchroom boss suggesting that the controversial heavyweight might not be as fit he’s leading on.

“They’re only 30 seconds long,” Hearn told BoxingSocial.

“You don’t know if half of that is him [sleeping]. He’s never going to look like he hasn’t got good movement but training is doing more than 30 seconds on the pad sticks.

“It’s more about intense training, sprints and long run – you know, we haven’t seen any of that.

“But, I believe his head is in the game.”
