With Tyson Fury casting doubt over whether he will ever box again, it’s also been revealed the Mancunian has rejected two lucrative offers to face Wladimir Klitschko in the Middle East.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live’s boxing correspondent Mike Costello, Fury explained how he declined the chance to hold his rematch with the Ukrainian in Dubai and Qatar.
One of the offers involved the owner of a super yacht, who intended to stage the fight in front of 120 of his friends.
Everybody in attendance would each pay $1m to witness the fight with no media coverage permitted whatsoever.
Although the 27-year-old divides opinion, it can never be said that he’s motivated by money.
