What on earth is Tyson Fury playing at?
The controversial heavyweight was supposed to take a huge step in the right direction on his comeback trail by appearing before his UK Anti-Doping hearing on Monday morning but, yet again, he’s proven that he can’t do anything the easy way.
Reporters were waiting for Fury’s arrival at 9am in London but six hours went by and there was still no sign of the 29-year-old.
At lunchtime, the BBC reported that Fury had failed to show up, despite his claims that he’d hoped to return to the ring in 2018 after more than two years out of action.
Tyson Fury’s National Anti Doping Panel hearing has NOT resumed today.
The Wythenshaw boxer has not appeared at the central London venue so far.

And the Tyson Fury anti-doping case mystery continues…. he was supposed to meet UKAD at an arbitration panel but no sign of either party today in London. And no comment as to why.

Rather than make his case in front of the arbitration panel which had gathered, Fury was busy enjoying a singalong in his car after leaving the gym.

Fury’s wait for the reinstatement of his boxing licence is wholly dependent on the findings of the UKAD panel but while he’s apparently taking the training aspect of his return very seriously, the same can’t be said for his treatment of the UKAD process.
The Ring heavyweight champion had only just revealed his intention to take to the ring again in April or May for a tune-up fight, with the ultimate goal of facing off with fellow undefeated Brit Anthony Joshua before 2018 is out, but then he didn’t bother showing up.
“Yes, hopefully they will do the right thing. I want to get back out there. I know what the outcome should be,” Fury told Sky Sports.
“End of April, early May. I will be ready by that time, fit and strong. The training plan is set up, so I will be ready by then.”
He really doesn’t help himself, does he?
