‘EURO is coming’
Next summer’s European Championships will be the first of its kind without an official host nation, with UEFA deciding to spread the matches across the continent instead.
Wembley will host the final and one of the semi-finals, while Scotland’s national stadium Hampden Park will also host matches at the tournament.
The other host cities include: Amsterdam, Baku, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow Munich, Rome, and Saint Petersburg.
Ahead of the return of hit TV series Game of Thrones, UEFA today released a promotional video for next summer’s tournament with a Game of Thrones theme.
Just like the iconic opening sequence on Game of Thrones, famous landmarks in the locations that will play host to next summer’s footballing action appear from the ground as the camera pans across the continent.
Sadly, the Euro 2020 music does not have the same pizzazz as the GoT theme tune, but then again very few pieces of music do.
