The former Chancellor has outlined his plan for Britain if he becomes PM – but not everyone’s convinced
Paddy Pimblett tore into Rishi Sunak‘s plan for Britain after the former Chancellor made it to the final two in the Tory leadership contest.
Sunak will face off with Liz Truss after Penny Mordaunt became the latest MP to bow out of the race.
He has pledged to run on a card of economic realism, as well as promoting the same “hard work, family and integrity” mentality adopted by Margaret Thatcher.

“I am running as a Thatcherite, and I will govern as a Thatcherite”, he said.
“The best way to achieve economic growth is cutting taxes and bureaucracy, and boosting private sector investment and innovation.”
But not everyone is convinced with the former Chancellor’s plan.
Speaking at a press conference, UFC fighter Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett pointed out that Britain’s current economic woes probably have a lot to do with his own actions, given that Sunak has been in charge of the country’s finances for some time.
He said: “Sunak says he wants to sort the country out. You were in charge, you little divvy.”

Earlier this year Pimblett pledged to give back to his earnings to the city of Liverpool following a victory over Rodrigo ‘Kazula’ Vargas.
“I’m from Liverpool, lad. We’re not Tories. My city keeps me grounded”, he said in a press conference after the bout.
“I do hope I end up earning as much money as Conor McGregor. I’m going to give back to my city. No child in this city would ever eat from a food bank ever again.”
