United fans are really laying into Mourinho after their poor 0-0 draw with Hull

Some even want him gone.

There’s no point in beating around the bush, Manchester United were poor as they slumped to a 0-0 draw at home against Hull tonight.

While they may have extended their unbeaten run in the league to 14 games, none of their fans can be happy with drawing against a side who were sitting bottom of the table before kick-off.

United lacked any kind of cutting edge in the final third, and the performance has left fans questioning whether Mourinho and United’s slight rejuvenation over the last couple of months really is all that.

Since the humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of his old club Chelsea back in October, the Portuguese has gone about his traditional business and made United very difficult to beat.

But they still sit sixth in the table, four points behind Liverpool in fourth and 14 off Chelsea in top spot – too big a gap to close with 15 games remaining in the season, most people believe.

Some fans weren’t holding back on a night that saw them lose ground on their rivals Manchester City, who hammered West Ham 4-0 at the London Stadium, calling Mourinho a failure.

And fans are also unhappy with his seeming refusal to play Anthony Martial of late. The Frenchman appears to be out of favour and no one can really understand why he’s not getting minutes in a lacklustre United attack.

If he gets his side to push on for the remainder of the season and guides them into the top four then we’re sure all will be forgiven, but Jose’s definitely not having quite as easy a ride as he did when he first took the league by storm.
