Vicente del Bosque may look like a grumpy man but we would still love to sit down and have a pint with him.
The former Real Madrid manager hopes to guide Spain to their third European Championship success in a row next summer and their preparations for the tournament are already under way.
Next week Spain face England, with Diego Costa back in the squad having missed out on the last two games due to suspension.
England sailed to the Euros, winning 10 out of 10 qualifying matches, but Del Bosque doesn’t have anything specific to say about their strengths and weaknesses.
In fact, judging from these “quick and powerful” comments, it sounds like he hasn’t watched them in some time…
Del Bosque with straight face: "England qualified really well, quick players, powerful in midfield & back. They're candidate to win Euros."

Del Bosque again being nice: "England are an extraordinary team, if they come together they are a real contender for Euros.”
