When it comes to naming the best fans in the world, Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are unlikely to be top of most people’s lists.
But that could soon change, after thousands of supporters combined to unveil a breathtaking mosaic inspired by everyone’s favourite fighting game Mortal Kombat.
The club, which trailed Iran’s Persepolis after the first leg of their Asian Champions League knockout tie, first created a fantastic tifo, beginning with iconic character ‘Sub-Zero’ before displaying the Mortal Kombat catchphrase ‘finish ’em’.
And it seemed to do the trick, with a 3-0 win enough to ensure the team’s progress to the quarter-final stage.

What next – Melbourne City fans creating a mosaic of Crash Bandicoot? How about the Kop unveiling a video game tribute to their own Super Mario?
It will take some beating.
