Another dismal performance from Manchester United, and the spotlight was once again turned on Louis van Gaal.
Amongst other things, such as the injury to David De Gea and Jesse Lingard’s failure to convert a couple of chances, the United boss suggested that the defeat to FC Midtjylland was down to ‘the law of Murphy’.
