Manchester United fans will be grateful that the club signed winger Andreas Pereira to a new contract after he fired home a stunner for Brazil’s Under-20 side.
The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut last season, and this solo effort against Serbia comes just weeks after he agreed a new three-year deal with Louis van Gaal’s side.
With questions being asked of the likes of Angel Di Maria and Adnan Januzaj, perhaps the solution to Manchester United’s attacking woes lies closer to home.
Unfortunately for Pereira, his effort was not enough to stop Brazil slipping to a 2-1 extra-time defeat against a strong Serbia side.
