Memphis Depay hasn’t had the easiest start to life at Manchester United.
Big things were expected of the Dutch forward when he arrived from PSV Eindhoven in the summer, but after some early sparks he has fallen away and has been used more as a substitute of late.
And now, in a brutally honest interview with 90/24 Sports, the 22-year-old has admitted his personality might not sit too well with everyone.
“My personality can sometimes be difficult for people,” Memphis explains.
“I can come across as being a bit arrogant.”

Since moving from PSV for more than £20m, the youngster has been criticised by Ruud Gullit, Youri Mulder and countless Manchester United fans.
And in the 90/24Â interview, during which he sheds light on his childhood in the Netherlands, he admits “I say, right or wrong, exactly what I think; and this can get me into trouble sometimes.”
