Well deserved from the Grand Slam champs
Grand Slam winners and Guinness Six Nations champions Wales have had seven players selected in ITV’s team of the tournament.
Forwards Ken Owens, Tomas Francis, Adam Beard, Alun Wyn Jones and Josh Navidi were all nominated to the broadcaster’s best XV while in the backs Josh Adams and Liam Williams were also selected.
Elsewhere England also earned seven selections with Mako Vunipola, Tom Curry, Billy Vunipola, Ben Young, Manu Tuilagi, Henry Slade and Jonny May all picked while Scotland’s Finn Russell rounds out the selection after earning the nod at fly-half.

Meanwhile Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt said that his side’s discipline let them down during their 25-7 defeat to Wales and he also added that Ireland did not respond well to pressure at the Principality Stadium.
“We weren’t as good as Wales today. They were hugely emotionally up for it and I know because we were in the same position last year going to Twickenham and you get another 5%. It’s hard to match but you’ve got to be able to match it, there will be occasions like that in the future.”
