Paul Pogba is nearing the end of his first full season back at Manchester United.
Having spent three of his teenage years with the club, he moved to Juventus in 2012, only to return last summer for a world-record transfer fee.
This time though, perhaps he’s planning on sticking around for quite a while. Or at least, that’s how some might interpret this short video clip of him speaking to some of his teammates in the dressing room.
As numerous Twitter accounts reliably inform us, this is the French international attempting to speak with a Mancunian accent.
“Are you from Manchester?” he can be seen asking someone standing out of shot of the camera.
“You’re not from near me,” he continues. “You’re not from here pal.”

Close your eyes, and you’d swear it was Liam Gallagher.
Pogba and his United teammates will hope to make it to the last four of the Europa League on Thursday night when they host Anderlecht at Old Trafford.
The first leg finished 1-1 in Belgium, the United conceding late after controlling the game in large parts following Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s opening goal.
