Craig Burley is the latest pundit to take issue with Arsenal fans, but for a completely different reason than Gary Neville.
Neville wasn’t impressed with some Arsenal Fan TV contributors calling for Arsene Wenger to leave the club following Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Chelsea last weekend.
“I walked out the Chelsea ground yesterday and there was a couple of these Arsenal fan TV camera things everywhere, and to be honest it was embarrassing listening to it and watching it.”

He also called a Gunners fan, who brought a sign into Stamford Bridge demanding Wenger leave, an “idiot” and launched an admirable defence of the under-fire Arsenal manager.
“Arsene Wenger’s biggest challenge is that he’s been there such a long time, and there’s always that sort of ‘grass is greener’ [attitude],” Neville said.
“If Arsene Wenger was Jurgen Klopp and he was currently above Manchester City, above Liverpool, above Manchester United that have spent nearly £150-200million between them, we’d be saying he’s doing a great job.”

Neville’s criticism of Arsenal fans hasn’t been well received by some of the Gunners faithful.
Arsenal Fan TV presenter Robbie even challenged him to appear on the popular You Tube station, an offer the former Manchester United defender said he would be happy to accept.

If they somehow manage to get Craig Burley on too, it would make for great viewing.
The ESPN pundit, who played for Chelsea, Celtic and Scotland during his career, has went for a different approach in his criticism of Arsenal fans.
Unlike Neville, he reckons Arsenal fans haven’t been hard enough on Wenger and the club.
The Scot has called for a revolution at the Emirates, a fan-led revolt against the “mediocrity” that has, in his opinion, infested the club.

He has issued this call to arms by insulting the “mentally weak” Arsenal fans.
“The Arsenal fans are spineless,” Burley began.
“I’m telling you, Arsenal fans, you are spineless. You are a mirror image of your team. Weak! Mentally weak! How can Arsenal fans continue to accept what they get every year?
“What they pay for their ticket and their season books and they follow their club across Europe and up and down the country in England and the accept the mediocrity – and it is mediocrity by a club of that standard – of getting in the top 4.”
