Could we be set for the biggest transfer anticlimax of all time?
It feels like we have been hearing about Paul Pogba moving to Manchester United every day for the last month because, well, we’ve been hearing about Paul Pogba moving to Manchester United every day for the last month.
Real Madrid briefly entered the conversation but that was nothing like the level of coverage that the Frenchman’s rumoured return to Old Trafford has received.

For all the world, it seemed as though the deal was done.
And it could well be but fresh doubt has been cast on the move as Pogba, during a holiday in the United States, appears to have told Juventus fans that he is staying in Turin.
Supporters from the IFTV channel asked the midfielder if he was remaining at Juventus this summer and Pogba seems to claim that that was the plan.
He could be staying. He could be going. He could be answering in as succinct a fashion as possible to distance himself from the prying questions of pesky fans.
